So I finally figured out why this is so hard emotionally................... it was supposed to be the trip that my dad and I shared and that is not going to be the case.... at least not in the traditional sense. Lots of blogging will help...........
Kathy, I can't even count the number of times I heard the phrase, "In India, anything can happen." So my prayer is you find peace of mind during your travels and plunge whole-heartedly into the blissful chaos and color riot that is India. Shanti, shanti, shanti OM.
This is a MASSIVE travel adventure too. The large chunks of travel time, coupled with your starting out this this not sleeping so well...is a huge contributor as well. Be gentle with yourself, because this trip is going to push back ALL your margins. BAZINGA! We are proud of you and very relieved you arrived safe and sound!
